Massage oil designed to nourish depleted tissues, build stamina and restore vitality
Bala Ashwagandhadi Thailam is a classical Ayurvedic massage oil traditionally used to nourish the muscles, joints and nervous system. Prepared in a sesame oil base with Bala, Ashwagandha, Laksha and a carefully selected blend of strengthening herbs, it is especially valued for balancing Vata and supporting physical resilience.
This warming herbal oil is widely used in traditional Ayurvedic massage (Abhyanga) to promote comfortable movement, healthy muscles and flexible joints. It is particularly suitable wherever the body feels weak, stiff or fatigued.
Main benefits
- Strengthens Muscles and Nerves: Provides deep tissue nourishment (Dhatu Poshana), making it highly effective for muscle wasting, muscle weakness, post-illness debility, and nerve-related fatigue.
- Soothes Neurological & Vata Disorders: Eases neurological conditions such as facial palsy, neuralgia, paralysis, sciatica, and chronic bodily aches caused by aggravated Vata.
- Relieves Joint Stiffness and Pain: Helps manage joint pain, arthritis (Sandhivata), spondylosis, and backache by enhancing joint stability and improving circulation to surrounding soft tissues.
- Aids Convalescence & Postpartum Recovery: Ideal for individuals recovering from long illnesses, surgery, or childbirth, helping rebuild physical vigour, muscle tone, and overall vitality.
- Supports Head & Sensory Health: When used for gentle head massages (Shiroabhyanga), it helps relieve tension headaches, dizziness, and fatigue, promoting better sleep and mental calm.
- Improves Skin Elasticity & Tone: The sesame oil and lacto-botanical base keeps skin supple, hydrated, and firm, making it suitable for full-body massages (Abhyanga) across all age groups.
- Ideal for regular Abhyanga: Daily or frequent self-massage helps maintain healthy circulation, supple muscles and overall body health.
- Deeply nourishing: Sesame oil carries the herbal extracts deep into the tissues, leaving the skin soft while supporting the underlying muscles and connective tissues.
