Helps balance appetite, fat metabolism & stomach acidity
Maharishi Ayurveda Meda II (MA1007) is a sophisticated weight-balancing formula designed for a very specific physiological need. While Meda I (MA1006) is for those with a slow, sluggish metabolism, Meda II (MA1007) is for those who have a strong, sharp appetite but struggle with weight management or “toxic” fat accumulation.
It focuses on balancing the “Agni” (digestive fire) so that it burns efficiently without creating cravings or hyperacidity.
Main benefits
- Regulates intense cravings: If you are someone who gets “hangry” or has an uncontrollable appetite, Be Trim 2 helps calm the digestive fire so you feel satisfied with smaller, healthier portions.
- Processes “Amavisha”: In Ayurveda, weight gain in high-appetite individuals is often caused by Amavisha – a more reactive, acidic type of toxin. This formula helps neutralise and clear these impurities.
- Supports liver function: It aids the liver in filtering toxins and processing fats, which is essential for healthy weight loss and clear skin.
- Balances blood sugar support: By stabilising the rate at which food is processed, it helps prevent the “highs and lows” that lead to sugar cravings.
- Reduces heat and inflammation: Unlike many fat burners that “heat up” the body, Be Trim 2 has a cooling effect, making it ideal for people who feel easily overheated or frustrated.
Key ingredients & actions
This 100-tablet formula balances “scraping” herbs (to remove fat) with “cooling” herbs (to soothe the stomach):
- Guggul – Indian Bedelliu: The primary Ayurvedic resin for “scraping” fat from the tissues and supporting healthy cholesterol.
- Gurmar – Gymnema Sylvestre: Known as the “sugar destroyer”, it helps reduce the taste and craving for sweets.
- Sariva – Indian Sarsaparilla: A cooling herb that purifies the blood and helps the liver clear reactive toxins.
- Guduchi – Heart-Leaved Moonseed: Traditionally valued for supporting digestion, detoxification, immunity and metabolic balance.
- Apamarga – Prickly Chaff Flower: Used in Ayurveda to support cleansing and metabolic balance.
- Fennel & Liquorice: These herbs soothe the digestive lining and prevent the “burning” sensation of an overactive appetite.
- Meshashringi & Vijaysar: Valued for supporting metabolic and sugar balance.
- Aloe Vera: Acts as a gentle internal cleanser and helps cool the digestive tract.
Meda I vs. Meda II: Which is right?
- Choose Meda I (MA1006): If you have a slow metabolism, gain weight easily even when eating little, feel heavy/lethargic, and have a “dull” appetite.
- Choose Meda II (MA1007): If you have a sharp appetite, feel lightheaded if you skip a meal, tend toward acidity or irritability, but still can’t seem to lose weight.
Usage & Tips
- Dosage: Take 1 tablet twice daily with warm water after meals for 15 days. Then increase to 1-2 tablets 2-3 times daily.
- Timing: Take after breakfast and dinner.
- Dietary Tip: While taking Meda II, avoid highly spicy, fermented, or excessively salty foods, as these can over-stimulate the appetite and counteract the herbs.
- Hydration: Sip room-temperature or slightly cool water (not ice cold) throughout the day to help the body flush out neutralised toxins.
- Note: For the best results, Be Trim 2 should be part of a lifestyle that includes a Pitta-pacifying diet and moderate exercise.
Specific dietary/lifestyle advice to help lose weight
