Cooling and calming Ayurvedic care for the skin, senses, mind and spirit
Sandalwood Powder, traditionally known in Ayurveda as Chandana, is made from the finely ground aromatic wood of Santalum album. Prized for its distinctive fragrance and naturally cooling character, sandalwood has a long history of use in Ayurvedic skincare, traditional body preparations, incense and spiritual practices.
Ayurveda particularly values sandalwood for balancing excess Pitta and soothing the hot, sharp qualities associated with this dosha. When blended into a smooth paste, it can be incorporated into traditional face masks and body treatments, helping the skin feel calm, refreshed and comfortably conditioned.
